Today, on 15.09.2023 the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, NEFTU celebrated Engineers’ Day at University campus. On the eve of Engineers’ Day, quiz competition and model making competition were held where students from Engineering and other departments participated.
The programme started with welcome speech by Ms. Nyangam Rime Asst. Proof. CED NEFTU, followed by keynote speech by Dr. Tomi Ete, Dean Engineering and Technology. Amit Kumar Majumdar, Assistant Professor, CED, highlighted about the life and works of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
Students of Engineering and Technology performed drama based on life of M. Visvesvaraya. And a group song was also performed by students of B. Tech.
Prize distribution to the winners and participants of quiz competition and model making competition was done by Dr. Tejum Padu, Dr. Rahul Nandi Registrar, Dr. N.K. Manoj C.O.E., Dr. Annu Devi, Principal Education Department and Dr. Tomi Ete Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
A word of advice was delivered by Dr. Tejum Padu Vice Chancellor.
The function was concluded by vote of thanks by Morik Jini Assistant Professor CED.
